Family Day Weekend

Happy belated Family Day everybody! Yayy!

Just in: Momma got released from primary...she is soo excited! 

But to get on with the post...I think I had a pretty good family day weekend. My Aunt Linda and Uncle Chris came down for the day to see my grandma with my two cousins. We just went to drive around, while my cousins shopped for things that they didn't have in Calgary..out of all places..my cousins were looking for things in Lethbridge...where we have practically nothing.

But anyways we went out to dinner at Boston Pizza with them after and surprisingly my Uncle Chris loves Jesse, they talked about the oil field together, which is good that they like each other.

But it was a good day. Very good day. I am so glad that my family likes Jesse, because I really like him too. 

Happy Valentine's day!

Like the title says Happy Valentine's day! Especially to all those that have valentine's day dates and lovers...to those who don't..your day is tomorrow..ha ha jokes. 

Anyways my day was just a good day. I worked 1:30 to 5:30 it was a short little shift but it was nice because then I could spend the night with my lover. 

I made him his favourite meal eggs and steak, and then he let me drive. He taught me how to turn a corner properly and tried..to teach me how to park. Parking is a lot harder than it looks yo! Seriously! I was just happy that he allowed me to drive. The last time that he allowed me to drive I nearly totalled his truck two times in 10 minutes. The first time I didn't check ongoing traffic and nearly hit a car...then the second is I nearly ran into the ditch on the highway. But I didn't know you couldn't turn at 90 km/h! But he taught me how to turn properly so it was all good. I thought it was a good lesson for sho! Today, it was a lot better than last time when he just said to drive to Coal Dale, which I was nervous as heck. I kept on biting my tongue the whole way. 

And lastly the night before we took my mom out to Tony Roma's for valentine's day because she is such a special lady. The food was good, very good! Then we went to Skyfall, because it was a free Alumni night event. I thought the videotography was beautiful, the imagery was awesome for the eye. The end of the movie however, was better than the beginning, and I thought the villain did a good job of being..well..evil. He was very creepy...so I guess he did his job right. 

Anyways that is all that happened in the last while, tonight I also did my nails..which is a colour from the OPI skyfall collection..goldeneye. LOVE LOVE that colour.

again the last few days!

So Sunday I went to Okotoks with Jesse. He wanted to go see his dad so I thought why not? I thought I could probably meet with my Uncle and Aunt there too since it is so close to Calgary..which we got to do. It was so much fun though, my Aunt fed us this mexican version of a Hawaiian haystack and then she gave me numbers so that she can give me recipes that I might want to use. Seriously..my Aunts cooking is da bomb dot com. Whenever you eat at her house its like having take out.

And today I was sick, went to the hospital with Jesse and did some homework later on in the evening with Mikaela. So excited that I am almost done Module 3 of chemistry. It was nice to have a homework buddy.

 and that is pretty much it! 

But hope to update as much as I can!

Movies..movies..movies

Ok so this week alone I went to:

1. Mama..had to run out of the theatre it was so scary. 

2. The hobbit (3d)..was Jesse's 23rd birthday that day.

3. Hansel and Gretel (awesome beyond measure...best gore scenes I have seen in awhile)

and lastly:

4. This is 40..seriously freaking awesome. I laughed throughout the whooole movie, even some of the sad parts were funny as hell. 

As well as these few events that have happened the past few days:

Did a bit of shopping...

Had the stomach flu...

did a bit more of shopping..

vomitted a bit more because of the stomach flu..

got made fun of for not saying that there were many people with dodge cars and trucks in lethbridge by Jesse. 

Got to spend more time with Jesse which is awesome beyond measure..like seriously. The most fun I have had in the last few days. 

and lastly I got my nose pierced! And by Mickey too! I knew him from high school from the culture club and he is hilarious. He made Jesse, me and Mikki laugh the whole freaking time...he really is great. So if you want a piercing do it by Mickey at Jaded downtown yo! 

And my sister was so wrong about the piercing. She said to imagine the most exruciating pain that you will ever be in..and that was how a nose piercing should feel. Like legit it felt better than getting a needle in your arm. But it was weird getting used to it but now I am.
