The New Starbucks Barista

Today was the first official day of my Barista training at Starbucks. I have to say that it is not that bad, hardest thing about it is knowing what pumps of stuff to put into the drinks but fairly simple. 

I also tried the Cinnamon Dulce Latte...and oh me gee. It tastes like a cinnamon bun version of coffee. It is so good, but other than that it is not that hard, took a while to understand the steamer and learned the difference between good and bad espresso. 

But it was not that bad learning, I look forward to learning more about it and when I get my flow for learning how the drinks work I think I will do fine. 

Don't you just love weeks of excitement?

Holy smokers..this week has been crazy busy. I lost friendships, saw family that I haven't seen in years, realized true friendships and got a surprise by my man. How exciting of a week is that?

Surprise.

First to begin with, last Wednesday I got the biggest surprise by my boyfriend. He was calling me..from what I thought was work..and he just said "Hey baby, I will be home in 10 minutes." Of course I didn't believe him and was sad that he had tricked me but then he said "go look outside" and I nearly started crying out of excitement to see him. I was especially happy to see him because this turn around has been the hardest. I didn't cry when he left but when he was away I was really sad. I was used to having him around so when he was gone it was hard. But it was such a nice surprise. 

Seeing old family.

So my Uncle Normal came to town with his wife Gemini, and my Aunt Joy. It was nice to see them, we went to dinner at Tony Roma's and he let me drive his car (grandma even said I was a good driver...she was really nervous). But it was fun, he finally told me why he called me Little bean as a child, and told me stuff about when my parents were still married and before I was born. It was cool to listen to it. Also they loved Jesse, but since he does work up north they had something to talk about so it was good. 

Realizing true friends.

This week I have come to realize my true friends as well. I have lost my friendship with Mikaela due to her immaturity, I had allowed her to stay at my house so she could find a job in Lethbridge, she took advantage of that so we kicked her out. But after that, and all the dramatic bullshit that she put me through afterwards. I realized who my true friends are, and I hung out with a few of them. 

I hung out with Christina and Britney one night. It was nice to have a girls night while Jesse played his games. It was nice to talk about our lives and our dreams for the future. It was nice to pig out all together like we used to, and talk about how school used to be. Things back then seemed so simple..now not so much. But it was good.

Lastly, Medicine Hat. 

and last but not least, Jesse and I went to Medicine hat so that he could go to the skate park. It was cute because they had a skate school for kids, bike school etc. That you can learn how to do all those things at the skate park. But watching Jesse he didn't really show off until one of his buds came. The bud that came was sponsored along with Jesse, so it was nice to watch them ride together. All in all it just was really cool to watch.

And that was my week. I thought it was a pretty exciting week, a dramatic one/good one/ relaxing one and the weather was insanely gorgeous so it helped as well. 

But thats it for now. Hopefully I will update more instead of putting these long entries. 

Job hunting and failing at it.

Mikaela and I are still trying hardcore to find job agains. I was going to go work at 711 but that was until I found out that they hardly allow any breaks and I am prediabetic so that just does not work that great so I didn't take that job. Also I have a lot of school that I need to work on, which is hard to do sometimes.  

But the next day I just got a call back for an interview at starbucks which was really good. I am really hoping to get this job so we shall see how that goes..

But before then we both were job hunting again and we got side tracked by jobs. We went to Petland(I think that is what it is called but they are the pet store with dogs) and they only had one dog, just a little yorkie but he looked so sad at the store. 

But we looked at the fishies, we held some mice and such. It was just fun we took some pictures of the animals there and such.

But yeah that is what we have been doing mostly is looking for jobs and going for a lot of walks (my poor feet) 

Cleaning

So today we cleaned up the hoarding mess that my boyfriend and I created in our room. It is so nice to have our room completely clean and all the laundry done as well! So thanks to mikaela for helping!

But anyways in the last few days I got a job at 711 I start on tuesday so that is good. It is the first time in a long time that I got hired on the spot, I haven't been hired on the spot except for my first job at Taco time when I was 14. But I am excited to start, only downside is that I have to take out my nose ring but I found an alternative to that..it is called a nose retainer and it is a clear piece of plastic that makes your nose piercing look virtually invisible. So that way I can still keep my nose piercing and work there. 

But that is the update for now. Tomorrow we are going to go job hunting for mikaela and then finish cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom hopefully.

BF gone BFF moves in

So Jesse is back to work...sad face..it makes me sad whenever he goes away. I was really surprised this time though that I did not cry each time I cried. First time I cried in front of him, second time I cried when he left..then this time around I didn't cry at all but I really miss him, so its like a permanent all the time sad. I was used to having him around for a few weeks so its sad to have him gone. But Mikaela came back into town..which brings me to the other part of my blog.

Missy Mikki moved in with me for awhile...at least to find a job in lethbridge. But it is so hard to find a job in lethbridge. The last two days we were walking around town looking for jobs. I got 2 interviews though, one was like a scam and the other at a liquor store (I am kind of hoping for that job..but I won't get my hopes up too much). 

But this time around her car is gone as well, so we have been walking it around town, and I have to say. My legs have not been in this much pain in a long time, but with the exercise I have been feeling better. I also didn't eat as much today either since I am broke as anything. Someday when I look on this blog when I am rich, I will look at this post and be like...wow Celina you were broke..really broke. 

With having Mikaela around I have got into cleaning mode. We moved around stuff in the kitchen today, like organizing spices, switching where appliances go. Tomorrow we will clean out the fridge and clean jesse and my room because I need help. I want for TLC to come into my house and clean it. It kind of feels like I am on hoarders. 

But I tried a new recipe, beet chips..and they were good, but the bad part about it was that it looked like I had killed barney because my hands and the sink was purple from the beet juice. So we liked them.

Later on today, we went to go hang out with Jess (Christina's love bug). It was nice to hang out with him, he bought us supper since he was hungry and then we talked about vehicles and relationships. It just was a chipper time. 

And further later on, Mikaela went to go meet up with a guy and she nearly got raped I guess. She was walking down mayor magrath and saw this mexican guy walk in the middle of the street, and appeared to be jacking off. Then he drove beside her and said I will pay you $50 to have sex with me..it was some crazy ass s&^t, but she got home safe so it is all good. Just won't let her go out that late ever again. 

Saphire, movies and friends

So the last week my boyfriend and I were taking care of his niece Saphire. She is the sweetest little girl ever. There are a few good things that came from her visit

1. I no longer hate Jesse's driving since she always thinks it is "fun"

2. Made me want to have babies even more.

3. Enjoyed having her around and it was good to have her around because Charly was missing the other cats (we got rid of ginger and minnie to a friend of Jesse's from the oil field) 

This whole ordeal started out with Jesse and I taking Minni and Ginger to Calgary since we were giving them away to his friend. His friend also has a dog and Ginger's face when she saw this dog. Her face was like "WTF...I have never seen one of you before..ever.." But the drive up with the cats was fine. Minnie was fine and ginger just had her face right down in the kennel (obviously you could tell she was pissed the f*&* out). 

Since we dropped off the cats we decided to go see Jesse's sister and we decided to take Saphire then instead of picking her up on the Wednesday.(we picked her up saturday instead of the wedns. ) Anyways we took a nap and then drove home. It started to blizzard outside and his sister offered for us to stay at their house. Luckily we didn't though because the next day it was like a foot of snow outside in Lethbridge. I couldn't even imagine what it was like in Calgary. 

Anyways with Saphire we played a lot, we went swimming..where we saw my friend Brittany Leavitt, we asked to borrow her water wings so that Saphire could go in the deeper pool with us. But we ended up using this floating fish thing that babies can sit in. But man was she grumpy all throughout that swim trip though, the only time she smiled was when her Uncle went off the diving board. But it was fun to swim. I forgot how much of a workout it was! 

Then for the rest of the week, we went to a few movies (admission..good movie, GI joe...good movie), hung out with a few friends. My friend Brittany, and Christina. 

The movie that we went to tonight though was Oblivion.

Guys..telling you..best movie ever. It is a mix between star wars and star trek. And the drones are a mix between R2D2 and eva from Wall-e. 

Seriously best movie in awhile. At the end I started to cry a little bit. 

Hanging out with friends

This week my friend Mikaela came into town. She was a girl that I worked with at walmart, we got along really good. She recently moved to Lloydminister saskatchewan so it was sad to see her go, especially since she was a really good friend. 

But she came down and we all hung out together, we walked around the mall, we laughed and stuff. We went to the movie the identity thief. Just a quick review:

Funniest movie I have seen in a long time. Period. 

Before the movie we bought frozen yogurt since I was waiting on my friend (Bennett) to get there. The frozen yogurt at the mill is great. Really it is. I had orangsicle, blueberry pomegranate, and blackberry frozen yogurts. I had nerds, sour patch kids and maraschino cherries on top. Literally orgasm in your mouth it was the best frozen yogurt. Melt in your mouth yummy. 

We were also meeting up with this guy that was friends with Bennett as well. His name is Jess, and he was really nice. The movie is good we were laughing the whole time, except during it..you know the annoying people that kick your seat all the time? Yeah that happened..I was ready to turn around and say some pretty mean things to them. 

But anyways we just drove around we had pizza after and then guess what happened? 

I got to drive Mikaela's car since...drum rolllllllllllll....

I GOT MY LEARNERS...finally..even though I am 20. 

It was fun driving around but it was hard since her car is a lot smaller than Jesse's truck so it took some getting used to. It was fun driving around though without having the guilt of getting caught and maybe..possibly..most likely..going to jail or getting a huge fine. 

So I am glad I finally got it. I am a happy girl. Yes, yes I am.
